01 CONCEPT DESIGN
The best design is often achieved through conceptual design, which often precedes the preliminary design; it coordinates the relationship between architectural function, structural function, aesthetic shape and construction conditions, and is the soul of the whole design work.
Conceptual design refers to the process of general arrangement of buildings and structures and correct determination of detailed structures based on the basic design principles and design ideas formed by the results of theoretical and experimental research and engineering experience.
02 SCHEMATIC DESIGN
The process of project design theme, project composition, content and form established according to the project requirements and the given conditions. The architectural scheme design is mainly producing technical drawings such as floor plans, elevations, sections and necessary details.
The results of the architectural scheme design include: design description, general building plan, detailed drawings of building plan, elevation and section, modeling design/effective drawings, and color drawings/analysis of results.
03 DESIGN DEVELOPMENT
We will significantly improve the design based on the approved floor plans and exterior concepts from the previous phase. The primary task of this phase is to define and develop all significant aspects of the project and generate a set of drawings and outline specifications to present preliminary cost estimates to potential contractors. The deliverable will be a more detailed set of drawings conveying the general layout and volume of the building or space, all significant equipment, and the type of material or finish for each surface of the project.
04 CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENT
During this phase, we assist local LDI to develop the design drawings into a complete and accurate set of construction documents. These drawings and specifications have all the details, dimensions and notes necessary to communicate the entire design intent to the builder. We clarify all materials, fixtures, equipment, etc., and confirm material materials, colors and workmanship.
05 REVIEW AND FEEDBACK
We will be available to answer questions and provide additional information to issues that arise. Our attention during this phase will ensure the smooth and satisfactory completion of the project as our ultimate goal as an architect is to help turn projects into reality.
